Product Description
N-timer™ Insulin (Protease Resistant)
The reagent stains live/viable β-cells in vitro or in vivo (WITHOUT FIXATION, WITHOUT PERMEABILIZATION). N-timer™ molecules are small synthetic peptides with a highly specific binding region targeting insulin. The N-timer™ Insulin molecule crosses tissues and cellular membranes in live islets, and remain only in cells containing high levels of Insulin. N-timer™ molecule is designed for use where proteases are present. N-timer™ Insulin is supplied with a reactive amine for conjugation with a dye of your choice and labeled variants. The N-timer™ Insulin staining process is rapid, simple and reproducible. Each N-timer™ insulin carries one dye molecule and will transport the dye across biological membranes resulting in a simple and rapid staining process. This reagent is recommended for working with β-cells that have been dispersed by the use of trypsin or other proteases or applications where proteases will be used after staining and the continued staining is desired. |
